Ok so with this composer, right off the bat he is in the public domain now in Canada and the EU. To answer your questions about the first and second symphonies, those are PD in the USA because of no proper copyright stamp on the piece and no renewal (I assume) was found in the catelogue of copyrigh...

No, it's still copyrighted. Giazotto must have built the entire Adagio off those 83 measures, rather than the "fragment". Enough of the work is constructed by him for the work to remain copyrighted.

I think copyright works a little more different for composers not from Europe... idk

What about Non PD EU and CA composers, such as Stravinsky? Personally I think just to be safe we should wait until 2022 or so...

About the buxtehude page, isn't there some way to remove the Prokofiev arrangement completely? That way, the rest of the page can be unblocked.
