Re: Links have disappeared on the George Onslow page

The reason we have been splitting large opus numbered based collections is because for example a opus number work which was published as a collection of sonatas (like 6 Violin Sonatas, Op.4, just making this up), no person in todays modern world performance wise, would play ALL six sonatas/symphonie...

Re: Neuen Berlioz-Ausgabe

If your talking about the voluntary 25 year rule for urtext/critical editions (1991 and before, soon to be 1992 by January), as long as the original composer died more than 50 years ago and the edition was published before 1992, this is fine. Any prefaces by the editors have to be removed from the e...

Go ahead and upload them. Except for L'Imperiale that is too recent for the urtext rule (less than 25 years).

Re: New Contributor Issues #481694

Your score you uploaded to that page, is still a vocal score because of the accompaniment but I must have mistakenly put it under the level 4 "Complete" tab because your score doesn't have all movements, I moved it under "Selections". As for retrieving a deleted thread, unfortuna...

Are you talking about the whole work itself mis-attributed or one of the files?

Re: Guidelines for submitting digital scores (MusicXML, MEI) and notation program formats?

As a blind musician, I'd prefer both source and musicxml formats uploaded with the pdf. Musicxml can be directly converted into braille, while when the notation software is updated, more complete information can be exported into musicxml. So I always use the original file instead of musicxml, unles...

Re: system messes up titles

Its quite complicated, as I said on the other post, it has to do with the way the cataloging and algorithms that are set up on here. We cannot compromise the Workpage titles for one composer on here, we have to manage across thousands of other composers. Your titling of your works is unique to your ...
