MIDI to wav converter

Hello;

Does anyone know of a decent FREEWARE midi to wav converter? I don't even need an instrument library, just a piano sound is fine. I can't find any online that don't cost 100$, **EDITED: we don't condone cracking software at imslp**

Yeah, I'm just trying to avoid arranging the parts myself. It would take a while to typeset, and I'm really busy doing Camelot right before the Pirates show, so I'm trying to take the easy way out. =)

g&s Pirates of Penzance reduced orchestra scores

Hi! I'm music directing Pirates of Penzance (why, I don't know; I've never music directed g&s before; only classic & modern broadway) and I'm trying to find some reduced orchestra scores for a pit of 6-10 musicians. I found this page http://math.boisestate.edu/GaS/pirates/html/pirates_scores...

oh, sorry about that. i did get that score from imslp, and it is in public domain, but I can see the problems which can arise from continued postings to the forums of files that are unable to be verified as pd and virus free. and btw you can download from rapidshare without an account or signing up ...

every piano I've had has been like a cookie-monster, only with pencils instead of cookies. I guess that would make them "pencil-monsters"

what's the deal with Bach's bwv1079 and 1080

bwv1079 - The Musical Offering bwv1080 - The Art of the Fugue I organize all my sheet music pdfs pretty explicitly. Every work I have, at the end of the filename I put the applicable instrument(s) in parentheses, except for solo piano. (no parentheses with instrument implies solo piano). I am having...

Yeah, is there a way to isolate all edits made by a particular i.p. (or multiple i.p.s) and then cancel them out? Can you return to a previous state? How long do files/text that have been edited out remain on the server? I would imagine a recovery system is (was) probably in effect in order to easil...

what does "spurious" mean (Bach Cantatas)

I downloaded everything on http://www.bh2000.net/score/ and I saw that on the Bach Church Cantatas some of the works had the title followed by "spurious" in parentheses with the name of another composer. What does spurious mean in this context?

They did say that. It's somewhere in the forums (don't ask me where, there's too much info here now!) Anyway, regarding a couple people's questions about why the whole takedown of IMSLP, all you have to do is read the open letter from imslp's founder. The letter is at www.imslp.org. Just read the le...

advice on pieces/composers of gypsy or klezmer violin&pi

Does anyone know any pieces for 1 violin and 1 piano of anything in the gypsy or klezmer genres? Or the names of any composers of the genre? I have had trouble narrowing results in search engines. I can't find anything for violin/piano. I'm going to have to buy it, I'm sure, but I don't even know th...

I certainly thank UE for this respectful and explanatory statement. However, I think that the point of contention which neither side sees fit to compromise on is the level of legal responsibility of IMSLP concerning people from other countries downloading works which are public domain in Canada, but...
