Re: Vanhal - concerto for 2 bassoons and orchestra - parts and full score

Vivaldi didn't write such a piece. Most likely the OP is talking about a transcription of the Double Cello Concerto in g minor, RV 531

Re: why not midi file?

Why ask here? That's a question for the uploader.

Re: Paganini Guitar piece

I'd wager a guess it's an arrangement of a minuet from a larger work.

Re: Tutti Mozart Youtube Channel

Well I watched most of the videos sans the 'notebook' ones.... They are going at a really really slow pace, so unless they really step up the frequency and release stuff in blocks of many pieces, even 10 years wil only scratch the surface. That said, I absolutely love the way they are doing it -- it...

Oh huh, don't know how I missed that, after I looked quite a bit. Thanks.

Table of Contents gone...

So ever since the recent change to the new default skin, the table of contents have been missing for pages. It's even gone if I'm logged in and have to set to show them in my preferences.
Any help?

Re: How to download all midi files

Even the largest of MIDIs are pretty tiny files. I don't think anyone would need to worry about data limits with even 16,000 of them.

Re: Upcoming changes

If they wanted to go the crowdfunding route, I'd think Patreon would be a much better choice.

Re: Upcoming changes

The CC licensed scores don't have the wait. So....one COULD say people are only paying for the PD scores (which of course is completely legal and ethical). Granted the money is more going to the backend of things and if the site 'only' had the CC content it'd still cost money, but do it at it that w...

Re: Upcoming changes

So having seen the 15 second thing in action, I really have to agree with previous points. Having it on every single upload makes it look like the shady file share sites, some of which are complete scams and even ones that aren't are still usually pretty bad. That said, I can see benefit to it -- a ...

Re: Rossini 6 Sonatas a Quattro

Believe me, as someone who did a research paper about it, there was no chamber music with a bass clarinet part that was published at that time.

Re: Jacques Offenbach. cellist

1996 is ''recently''? The only real hope for the concerti would be copies of the manuscript, they were never published (or at least not any time where they'd be PD). Also the whole issue with the those two pieces is confusing -- one of the recordings claims that the Concerto-Rondo is the third movem...
