Thank you. This is very clear.
But I keep seeing what should be in the collection on the compositions page, which make it all inconsistent. I wish that all admins should do the same.

Re: Composer information on score upload
For the upload by someone else VERY RECENTLY, the admin did not change it. For Trio de salon, Op.27 (Grund, Friedrich Wilhelm), the publisher info was given as {{P|Schuberth & Co.||Hamburg||||1317}} using the same format that I used and the same admin did not see anything wrong with it and did n...

Composer information on score upload
As an inexperienced uploader I followed the example of previous establish workpages . For example for Symphony No.9, Op.125 (Beethoven, Ludwig van) the publisher information was given as {{P|Breitkopf und Härtel||Wiesbaden|1984|||5175}}. When I used the same format for my upload, I found to my surpr...

Free transcription goes to which page?
I want to upload 2 harp transcriptions by G. Principe. They are not strict transcriptions but rather free transcriptions of Rameau and Schubert's work. I would be grateful for the guidance and advice from an admin about on which work page I upload. G Principe's work page or Rameau and Schubert's wor...

Re: The server is broken
Hi Max, Thank you very much . I removed the apostrophe in the title by changing it from '-Studio d'orchestra per arpa' to ' orchestral studies for harp', but still could not a upload the file on the US Server. The same 'Forbidden' message as before. I think that you told me before when I reported it...

The server is broken
Since 2 days ago I have been trying to upload Sebastiani's Studio d'orchestra per arpa which is PD in US only. This is the message I got. ' Forbidden .You don't have permission to access /uploadprocessor.php on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an E...

Re: How do you determine copyright status if the date of the decease of the composer is unknown ?
Thank you very much cypressdome. That was really informative. Yes, it would be interesting to hear from Carolus regarding the actual legal framework for determining when a work whose author's date of death cannot be determined enters the public domain

How do you determine copyright status if the date of the decease of the composer is unknown ?
I would be grateful if a copyright reviewer can explain to me how you determine whether a work is in PD or not if the compose's dates are unknown. I have uploaded scores that I myself did not know, relying on the expertise of the copyright reviewers, but I will be really grateful if you can kindly e...

Re: What is IMSLP's definition of a collection?
I also think that IMSLP should have clear guideline for what constitutes a collection. If we have to try and guess whether the composer meant it to be a collection or a work, we are than going into the land of ' conjecture' rather than actual fact and different admins will have different interpretat...

Re: What is IMSLP's definition of a collection?
Thanks. I am still confused. Why should 4 Harp Duets, Op.10 classified as a collection, whereas '4 Harp Duets, Op.10' and '3 Sonatas for Harp and Violin, Op.5' classified as composition ?

What is IMSLP's definition of a collection?
Can an admin please explain to me what the IMSLP's definition of a collection is? I am in the process of uploading works by Philippe Joseph Hinner and am really perplexed by the way that some of them were put under the collection and some under the compositions. His 4 Harp Sonatas, Op.6 was put unde...
