I have volumes 2, 3, an 4. I will eventually get around to scanning and uploading them.

Re: Extract parts

I just tried it on a Mozart concert aria. The results aren't exactly attractive, but they look usable, and are certainly better than nothing. What it does is detect the staves, then slice the full score into ribbons, then collate the staves of each common instrument. You end up with uneven margins, ...

F.P. Tosti complete songs now available on IMSLP

A couple years ago I found a set of F.P. Tosti's complete songs at the music library published by Ricordi. Nearly all the songs in the collection were reprints of late 19th or early 20th century editions, making them eligible for upload. At the time there were only a handful of Tosti's songs on IMSL...

72.50MB, 86 pages
That's quite a large file for 86 pages. Is it a color scan? Are you able to reduce the file size, or would you like someone else to do it?

Re: Gradus ad Parnassum du violoniste by Emile Sauret

That's not too bad. Berkeley actually has volumes 2, 3 and 4. I'll see what I can do about this.

Is there any priority order for these volumes?

Re: La Gioconda orchestral parts

I checked WorldCat, and wasn't able to find parts to La Gioconda anywhere. Have you tried contacting any of the large opera companies in Europe to see if they have parts they may be able to lend or rent to you? If you can get a hold of them, you can copy or scan them for your own use, and perhaps up...

Winterreise page has broken templates

http://imslp.org/wiki/Winterreise,_D.911_(Op.89)_(Schubert,_Franz) Someone added some audio files to the Winterreise page yesterday, and the addition broke something. I don't know enough about the templates to know what is wrong with the page. Winterreise is also no longer appearing in the list of ...

Four work pages need deletion

I goofed while uploading. I uploaded four songs as separate works, when they all should have been on the same work page. The four work pages to be deleted are here. http://imslp.org/wiki/Mon_bien-aim%C3%A9!_(Tosti,_Francesco_Paolo) http://imslp.org/wiki/Petite_Valse_Romantique_(Tosti,_Francesco_Paol...

Re: Tosti Upload Project

Looks like I'm closing in on the end of this project. I'm currently in the middle of uploading volume 12. I have processed volume 13 into PDFs, and volume 14 is sitting on my computer as raw scans. At this point, the bulk of the works that most singers would be interested in (i.e. the Italian songs)...

Re: Web pages that "block" your back arrow

What browser are you using? I just tried this on Chrome, Firefox and Safari, and none of them had any problems going back to IMSLP from Pianopassion.

Re: Web pages that "block" your back arrow

I do not see this problem using Chrome on Ubuntu, but I do know what you are talking about. This sometimes happens when there is an intermediate page that redirects you. When you press the back button, you hit the redirect page, which takes you to the page you were trying to "back" away fr...

[FEAT] Sort by popularity

If I have a page of Schubert's songs, or Haydn's symphonies, it would be nice to be able to list them by the number of downloads each work has. There are so many, if you aren't familiar with the composer it will be hard to identify which are the more famous works. I think number of downloads would b...
