Re: Can I add my own "for sale" link?

I don't see why that should be a problem. If you have page for all your work on Lulu you can probably also add a link on your category page on IMSLP.

Re: 6 Offertoires, Op.35 (Lefébure-Wély, Louis James Alfred)

I'm not convinced that the work isn't by Louis James Alfred. Op.35 is dedicated "À son ami Mr. Ambroise Thomas." Louis James Alfred (born 1817) would be more likely to address Thomas (born 1811) as a friend than Isaac-François (born ca.1752). Op.35 (as well as Op.34) was published by Canau...

Re: Uploading Performance Notes

There are a few ways you can do this. You can create a text document and upload it as a PDF file following the same procedure as you would with a musical score. The file description can be something like "Performance Instructions." Once uploaded it can be merged with the existing files und...

Within the publication information for those three songs is a language field that informs users that the scores include Russian and French text.

Re: How to post an XML file

On your work's page mouse over "Add File" in the upper right corner and select "Add your own composition", select the tab on which your existing score is found ("scores and parts" in your case I believe), browse to and select your zip archive file, fill in the form (you...

Re: Suggestion: Addition of a category for "Works dedicated to [name]"

Try something like this: dedication AROUND(5) Liszt

The result will give you all pages in which both terms appear within 5 words of each other. The number in parentheses can be any value you want.

Re: Suggestion: Addition of a category for "Works dedicated to [name]"

Here is a solution that has just been implemented. It is an "As Dedicatee" tab on people's category pages. I've searched the wiki and have added all the works dedicated to Henri Marteau so that 21 works are listed under that tab on his category page. To add a work to a dedicatee's category...

Re: Why not allowed to Add File?

Your arrangement of Elgar's Sospiri appears to be available now. Uploaded files are blocked until they pass copyright review which generally happens over the course of a day. I have also "associated" your username with your category ( Duffy, Philip) which should improve the upload process ...

Re: Multiple authorship, presence in Composer page

It may also be a good idea to add the Attrib template (with an appropriate authorship statement) to the top of the page. This will add an eye-catching message box at the top of the page informing users that the work has multiple authors.

Re: Table of Contents gone...

It appears that in the new default skin the table of contents found on work pages has been converted to a drop-down menu. It should be at the top of the page to the right of the IMSLP logo and the Page drop-down menu.

Re: Adding separately published libretto to an existing work-page

Simply stating that you cannot edit work pages that you have created on the wiki is not enough of a response to enable either the site owner (imslp in this thread ) or myself (in this thread ) to troubleshoot the problem. In both cases each of us asked you to respond to a couple of questions (send a...

Re: Adding separately published libretto to an existing work-page

When you add the file to the page you can select the "Other" tab to place it under. Once that is done one of the admins can edit the page and change the tab title to Librettos. By the way it does not appear that you ever responded to either of the two threads (one in announcements and the ...

Re: Small collection of Finnish works

Glancing through some of them they appear to be engravings from the early 20th century. Given the dates of the composers they are probably all in the public domain in Canada, the EU, and the U.S. The one exception might be the song collection. It just depends on the dates of the composers and libret...
