"Urtext" editions with 2 dates?

The cover says 1992-2020 XYZ all rights reserved. Does it meet the 25-year rule?

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

Some libraries have it but do not offer it on Internet! Did you have a look at the pre-1800 edition on https://imslp.org/wiki/Piano_Sonata_No. ... g_Amadeus)?

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

Feel free to ask for a few other Köchels. Hope I'll find a library scan better than the post-2020 bnf ones :-) (duplex, skewed, dark etc). "Oh, they have been microfilmed like this."

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

Not everything is possible with the bnf/gallica scans. Read e.g https://gallica.bnf.fr//iiif/ark:/12148/btv1b10072945t/f4/full/full/0/native.jpg to see the wonderful lady I worked with. I chose a threshold with which staff lines and note stems do not show too many breaks, resulting in blobs elsewher...

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

I have uploaded a K. 284 Sonata from times when a harspichord was still correct for mozart :-)

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

The K. 284 is contained in another Breitkopf selection from 1798 https://digital.staatsbibliothek-berlin ... MDLOG_0001

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

The original versions are grayscale, duplex. I strive to find a conversion threshold that loses nothing. Feel free to compare e.g. K. 309 with the bnf link I provided. A grayscale version of K. 309 is 20-MB big.

Re: First editions of Mozart's Piano Sonatas

Question for you and perhaps for the admins: to split or not to split?

Does this do the job? Result #3 in https://gallica.bnf.fr/services/engine/search/sru?operation=searchRetrieve&exactSearch=false&collapsing=true&version=1.2&query=((dc.creator%20all%20%22Mozart,%20Wolfgang%20Amadeus%22%20or%20dc.contributor%20all%20%22Mozart,%20Wolfgang%20Amadeus%22%2...

Re: Sibley File Too Large

Then perhaps add a note on the present imslp page, with a link to the Sibley page, for those interested by these additions and corrections.

If you want to download from BNF only read https://imslpforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=8977
Images are typically 3-MB large.

Re: Is there a good ocr online site?

I found an acceptable solution - suppose I also want to translate into French - go to https://translate.google.fr/ . Select Document instead of Text and browse to select the pdf. Type Translate and save the result. This result will be a pdf with a messy superposition of the original and the translat...

Is there a good ocr online site?

(Optical character recognition). Input is a text in pdf, not a score. Output is text, not pdf.
