Telemann Tafelmusik

In the category "For oboe, strings, continuo" appears Telemann´s Tafelmusik. But this collection doesn`t contain any concerto of this type.
Somebody should fix this please.

Re: Hochladen

Composer wanted

I have just uploaded the incomplete score of a concerto of Quantz: http://imslp.org/wiki/Concerto_in_E_minor,_QV_6:3_%28Quantz,_Johann_Joachim%29 Unfortionately two very important parts are missing: the solo voices. Originally there are two solo flutes or one solo flute and a solo oboe. I added a re...

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

From the user manuel: "Enable MusicXML format extensions PDFtoMusic Pro is based on the MusicXML format. To import MusicXML files that have been created by PDFtoMusic Pro, you must use Melody Assistant version 7.3 or more, or Harmony Assistant version 9.3 or more. Although very complete, MusicX...

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

PdftoMusic can only be applied on PDF´s which are created with notation programs. It reconstructs the original structures of the sheetmusic from which the pdf was created. With a copy of a printed score PdftoMusic can do nothing. But users like jpaden are looking for notation program files of new ty...

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

A good part of the notation advices in the icking article is automatically respected by modern notation programs. @steltz- If you take for example the first page of http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Lieder_im_Freien_zu_singen,_Op.59_%28Mendelssohn,_Felix%29, make an xml out of it by using PdftoMusic pro and o...

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

@JP. The software "PDFtoMusic Pro" gives the possibility to play back pdf files, and it can produce MusicXml files from them. It does not work for all pdfs, but only for those, which are created by a notation program. There is a demo version available (look at google) with the restriction ...

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

There seems to be a misunderstanding. What I (and I think Kalliwoda too) mean with "source" is not the source file of a notation
program, but a manuscript or an early print of the composers work for example.

Re: Your chance to weigh in on typesetting

Having posted a lot of new typesetted scores I should join this discussion. First of all, I agree with the efforts to improve the quality of such scores. Especially the fact, that they may contain incorrect informations about the compositions is disturbing. If the sources are available at IMSLP too,...

Completing the list of double reed quartets

In the "Category:For oboe, English horn, bass oboe, bassoon (arr)" the Matthäus-Passion of Bach is
missing. Can somebody fix it? I think, I can´t do it by myself.

Re: piano reduction and ornaments

Now the oboe concert of Marcello in the edition of Lauschmann appeared at IMSLP. This is not legal
by the same reasons as mentioned above at least in Europe.
