A few requests

Here are a few gaps I'd love to see filled if possible: Orchestral score for Stanford's 4th Symphony (this is a long-standing request - IMSLP only has the two-piano reduction). Symphony #2 by Alexander von Zemlinsky The "Olympie" overture, and any symphony by Joseph Martin Kraus Any sympho...

Re: Orchestral Parts Project

Andy, actually I may be interested, depending on my schedule. I have been planning on doing this for my community orchestra, and somehow had never thought of uploading the resulting parts, but that is a fine idea.

Re: Navigation question

Just FYI - no, a Google search is no improvement. There are just as many false positives, and the results are not even in a coherent order. The only way I can see to do this search is to use the CW and open each page individually to see what is there. Too bad - it is a real weakness in how the site ...

Re: Navigation question

Exactly the problem! It would be great to be able to use the CW to pull up files based on how they actually are - just orchestra scores, or just piano reductions. The "parts" tag doesn't help because I am specifically looking for full orchestra scores that do not have parts. I will give th...

Navigation question

Could anyone suggest the best way to navigate in order to find orchestral music actually scored for orchestra? My searches keep bogging down with masses of pieces arranged for piano, SATB chorus, violin and piano, etc. I only want works with scores for orchestra.

Thanks

Re: Stanford Symphony #4

Thanks for the info - looks pretty hefty to me - 35 Euros or near $50 for the miniscore. Sadly, I'll probably have to pass.

Stanford Symphony #4

I could really use a copy of the full orchestra score for the Symphony #4 by Charles Villiers Stanford. The posted one is piano four hands, but I need to see the orchestration. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Dvorak String Sextet

I'm surprised it isn't represented. Score and parts would be most welcome.

Re: [BUG] Please detail any post-upgrade problems here

Currently I can't access anything. Almost all the files show
"Error
Requested file not yet officially submitted to IMSLP"

I assume this is a temporary glitch?

Re: Les Six

Thanks for the replies. Dumb me - I forget that it is the composer's life and not the publication date.

Les Six

We have Honneger represented, but where are the other five? I don't know much of Durey and Auric, beyond their names, but it would be nice to have something of Tailleferre, and to be missing Milhaud and Poulenc is amazing. Is it a copyright issue?

Re: Brahms Bb Quartet

Just kicking this back to the top of the heap - we have multiple scores and piano transcriptions, but no performance parts. They would be most welcome.
