Re: Mahler

I would so love to look at the Resurrection symphony, but the only uploaded edition wasn't edited enough long ago. If someone could upload the unedited version, that'd be great.

The score to Summer Music is actually on YouTube; someone synced images of the score to a recording of the music.

'Recent additions' problems

Symphonic Dances, Op. 45
Minnesota Orchestra, Eiji Oue - conductor

I only wish this wasn't his last work, so I could view the sheet music.

Yes, as a violist, I found some of the viola jokes to be quite annoying.

Since this was written in the 1950s and Shostakovich first died in 1975 (4/6?), this is still copyright. I would think twenty or thirty more years. I know, this concerto is definitely a hidden gem and is rarely played only because the piano part isn't very difficult. This is probably my favorite con...

Seeing as the Rubinstein concerti themselves aren't in the modern repertoire, I don't see why any set would have the orchestral parts.

Pretty much everything will be in the OM project, so if you need to request a certain part, don't bother making a thread.

I read that before, and I guess it sounds alright. How would I do it, though?

Because the OM logo is on all of it's parts?

I guess. I usually have nothing to do during the day (though school resumes on Monday), so I just browse the web.
