Re: Splitt PDF page into 2 equal halfs

Here http://blog.rubypdf.com/2007/02/19/split-an-a3-pagegenerated-by-n-up-application-to-double-a4-pages and here http://rubypdf.com/ you can find a win software that can do that, but to get it you have to mail to the softer writer and pay it. The simplest way is to use a live cd linux , install gsca...

Re: Finding composer

Score Request is the right place for your question, not here. By the way IMSLP usually doesn't host source files like finale lilypond sibelius etc. You have to ask privately to the uploader. If you received no answer I don't know what to do..... My suggestion is to get single parts cutting strips from...

Re: Splitt PDF page into 2 equal halfs

If you use linux gscan2pdf can do this in automatic and also manually. When I used Acrobat professional I made 2 scans of the same page and after I crooped each page. By the way usually scanners have a software that can split a scan in 2 or more pages.I think you have to look for options in your sca...

Re: In the news (sort of)

This is sad. I love sheet music shops.I have the original printed parts of all music I posses.(all music that is in print).I think if you need the complete Mozart Sonatas or bach or Beethoven etc. it's more convenient you buy them because if you print a file after you have to put all pages together ...

Re: Can a library claim copyright on unpublished holdings?

We are a little bit out topic to deal with this argument here...but in short: All my files (IMSLP files) are PD so you can do what you want (clean them re edit ,sell, etc). It's a job (or an hobby) like an other. What compelled me to do this, is because when I was a student (I lived in a very small to...

If it's a way to earn money to pay server bills I think it's a good idea. But we should be sure that it be an "effective source of money" because if it's only a link......it's a gratis advertisements for them.
