Translation tools are erratic, but the item (for violin and piano) is listed there, and good luck.

Re: Parker - Seven Pastoral scenes, Schmitt - chanson
I can recommend the Parker work for a reasonably skilled women's chorus. I have not been able to locate the instrumental parts listed.

Re: Ryder's "Pleyel's Hymn with Variations"
It's the theme from the second movt. of his String Quartet in G Major, op. 20 #4. Look for "6 String Quartets, B. (for Benton) 346-351" on the Pleyel page and go to B. 349; the second movt. starts on page 13. Apparently the simple theme ended up being set to a Masonic text, resulting in it...

This trio is published by C. F. Peters - $27 - and Breitkopf - about $20.

Sounds like something that might have been written for the program. Have you tried contacting the Spanish TV station?

I would suggest contacting the recording company and ask for their input.

Re: Schoenberg has died 71 years ago (string suite in G)
If you are in the United States, the score is available from Hal Leonard, catalog number HL 50482511, $20. You should be able to have it in two weeks.

Re: Kuhlau question to help identify a work
The Op. 52 sonatas are listed in the Danish Library, but are not digitized. Perhaps the librarian(s) there could help out with a comparison between what the library has and the LOC scan.

Re: Cuban Opening of Georges Gershwin
I see the score and full orchestra parts (string count 6, 6, 5, 4, 3) on the web site for Edition Zeta, apparently a Canadian publisher. Price is $105.50 (U. S. dollars).

Re: Cuban Opening of Georges Gershwin
The score says non-PD in the U. S., but it downloaded immediately to my Massachusetts computer. And, yes, those pages are missing.

Re: Help with translating the plot summary of a Schubert Ope
In the land of horrific translations, the merely inept can seem almost serviceable. The translator must have an exceptionally keen sense of the target language, which is why online results can be so laughable. For example, the "swallowed nodes" mentioned earlier are actually "entwined...

Re: Rheinberger Op 38 Piano Quartet
Regarding the Rheinberger Quartet: I believe the Youtube posting may be flawed, or else the Gobel recording. The third movement on that recording seems to be in a key unrelated to the rest of the quartet, and the music has little if any of Rheinberger's compositional personality. After all, if Amazo...

Re: Batuque (Negro dance) - Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez
Upon further reflection, and after further searching: The Wikipedia entry for Fernandez states that he composed "Malazarte", then put together a three-movement suite of music from the opera, the third movement of which is entitled "Batuque". Although the title of suite itself is ...
