Server upgrade underway (25 June 2010)

Hello all!

Please do not post forum topics complaining about being unable to reach the main IMSLP site – it is intentionally unavailable while upgrades occur. Hopefully the upgrade will be concluded sooner than the scheduled downtime window, but I guess we'll need to hear from Feldmahler how it is progressing.

Just as a note, for some of us it's still the 24th
I'm hoping that this upgrade will finally get rid of the notorious 500 error problem...is that one of the objectives, Feldmahler?

Duly noted, but if memory serves the "Site notice" also failed to mention specifics of hours and time zones. Which international time standard do people think we should be following? ;-)

@KGill: Yes, hopefully.

@pml: The times are highly inaccurate. If everything goes well the site should be back up Saturday evening or even afternoon/noon EST. However, I reserved Sunday because things may not go according to plan.

@mbednarek: Yagan was in charge of the twitter account, but he seems to be away. I don't know if twitter allows multiple people to administer that account? In fact, I know next to nothing about twitter...
