Postby Feduol » Thu Apr 21, 2011 6:15 pm

Dears, I realized that our IMSLP is back with the main domain (http://imslp.org) :D :D :D
Let's celebrate!

Dear Feldmahler and Calorus, thank you for your efforts! Could you explain how IMSLP is back soon?

Chears! :D

"MPA will seek to work with @IMSLP to ensure that all scores made available comply with relevant copyright legislation." - http://twitter.com/#!/the_MPA/status/61116687306588160

Srsly? I find it difficult to believe that any scores will be found voilating copyright, considering our copyright reviews + the UE situation three years ago.
If a composition has an awesome horn part...
... it is definitely a good piece!

Thank you to everyone who is helping sort this out -- I think the latest paternalistic offering of help to see that everything here complies with law is a bit of face-saving exercise. I would be very surprised if they can actually find anything that doesn't comply. When that turns out to be the case, I think we should advertise it HEAVILY!
