Error in Hotteterre Op. 3 trio sonata scan

Post by dsimons »

I have just come across an error in #304580, "PDF scanned by F-Pn Feduol (2013/11/24)", Jacques Hotteterre trio sonatas Op.3. In the single file containing all 3 parts, in the II.d dessus, Sonata IV, pp 44-45 of the PDF, the first two pages are from I.er dessus. I would contact the uploader directly if I knew how. I hope someone who sees this post can identify him, contact him, and that he can rescan the two missing pages (the first 2 pages of Sonata IV, II.d dessus part), and fix the file.

Feduol is innocent. The culprit is BNF. There are 2 results on BNF with "Hotteterre sonates trio" but at present the BNF=Gallica site is very slow. Tomorrow I'll see if I can access the high resolution pages.

The problem is the same with the 400-dpi images you can fetch. I sent an e-mail to gallica@bnf.fr.
