Updating a file

Post by Frank Nordberg »

Sorry if I post this at the wrong board - I'm new here and still trying to find my way.

Thing is, I uploaded a PDF file earlier tonight and then I realized there were a couple of typos int it (I'd even spelled imslp.org wrong). When I tried to upload a corrected version I got the message that the file name was already in use. What can I do about that?

I'm guessing that you used the "Add File" button in the upper right corner. To upload a new version of a file click on the number to the right of the big X (if the file has not passed through copyright review) or to the right of the large down arrow (if the file has passed copyright review). On the next screen you will see a link that reads "Upload a new version of this file." Simply click on that and you can select the updated file on your computer to upload.

Welcome to IMSLP!
