When converting PDF's to image for editing, what format and resolution should I be converting to for best quality? Thanks,

For the format I would suggest a losslessly-compressed TIFF file. I would think that the resolution would be somewhat dependent on the resolution of the images within the source PDF. Adobe Acrobat Pro can be set to automatically determine at what resolution the images can be extracted. I don't know about other applications but 600 dpi or higher would be the ideal.

Is the original pdf color, greyscale or monochrome? If this pdf is online somewhere I'll help researching the best format and resolution.
