Submitting source files

Post by rpalmer »

Greetings - I apologize if this is the wrong place for this issue. I have submitted a PDF of Handel's Sonata in G minor for Viola and Piano. I created the PDF using LilyPond, a music transcription program. I intended to upload the source file, but I don't seem to be able to. Can someone please either tell me where to look to find out how to upload the source file, tell me it's not possible, or point me to the correct forum for my question?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Ralph

We do not permit uploading of source files directly. However, you can always generate a PDF from the source, and attach the source to the PDF file then upload that.

Actually, according to FIle formats: Zip IMSLP allows the uploading of typesetting source files as long as the file(s) are packaged into a Zip archive file. Those can be uploaded to the relevant work page using the normal "add file" routine. Daphnis is correct in that you can also attach the source file(s) to the PDF of the score itself and upload it that way as well.
