Creating a collection

Post by PhilH »

I'm not convinced this is the most appropriate forum to ask this question, but can't find a better one.

I'm starting to create a collection based on 2 books from around 1588: Musica Transalpina. I'm creating original-style mensural scores, parts and modern scores. There are 57 madrigals in book 1 and 24 in book 2. The compositions are by various composers. I would like them to form a collection on IMSLP, but can't work out how to place them within IMSLP. They would seem to justify their own page, but do not have a single composer. Advice, please.

Were they originally published as a collection, or are you pulling them from various sources to make into a new collection?

They were published as two books, around 1588. They were called Musica Transalpina, books one and two. So: a collection.

As it turns out, we already have a page for this collection:

http://imslp.org/wiki/Musica_Transalpina_(Various)

so you can upload your edition to that page.
