Quality of my scans?

Post by bicinium »

Can anyone rate my scans on this page? Other than a few slightly skewed pages and a smudge here and there, I thought they were pretty good. I will soon receive a similar work that I intend to scan, and I want to know if there's anything critical that I need to do better, and whether or not that bozo who 1-starred me has a point ;)

Don´t worry about these ratings, there absolutely meaningless and should be canceled on the whole wiki. I´m not the only one with this opinion, but the
"chiefs" want to keep them apparently. BTW, your scan is pretty good.

There's definitely something amiss with the rating system. I've seen huge, full-colour manuscript scans with a one-star rating, and greyscale jpg scans of about 70-150dpi with five-star ratings.

It's not very logical!

Try to convince Feldmahler and Carolus, that this rating system should be canceled!
