How can I ask sysop to edit the locked pages?

I'd like to edit some locked pages for translation, but I don't know how can I ask sysop to edit them.

I reduced the protection level of the category pages and the template, so you should be able to edit them now.

I'm not sure what's the matter with the MediaWiki message. In fact, the page doesn't actually exist. In the automatically generated TOCs, it is automatically translated according to user preferences. I don't know why the transclusion in the alphabetical TOC always produces the English version.

Done. I noted, however, that while the URL to FAQ now points to the Japanese one (when appropriate), the title of the link was still in English, so I changed that as well- I just copied the title of the page (minus 'IMSLP:'). Is that correct?

Uh-oh. There seems to be a similar problem with MediaWiki:Composerperiod-url/ja (see Feldmahler's talk page). I have no clue why since all the others (that have been translated) seem to work. Feldmahler speaks of code needing fixing...
