FTP files

Post by Operalala »

Hi all, I've cleaned up and uploaded all the remaining Handel and Berlioz vocal scores on the FTP server, so the files and folders should be removed, so someone else doesn't come along and repeat the work. (I don't see any options for uploading or deleting files, so I'm guessing an administrator needs to do it.)

Also, if somebody could upload them, I'd like to clean up and post the files on these CD's:
*French Art Songs
*Mid-Romantic German Lieder
*Late Romantic German Lieder
*Mozart Opera Vocal Scores

These folders should be taken off the FTP server because they have all been completed and uploaded:
ftp://imslp.org/logo_infested/CDSM/Voca ... s/Berlioz/
ftp://imslp.org/logo_infested/CDSM/Voca ... es/Handel/

Update:
  • French Art Songs < I may have them all now, but I still need to double check
Mid-Romantic German Lieder < still need Brahms (everything on IMSLP is low-resolution U of I scores)
Late Romantic German Lieder < have :)
Mozart Opera Vocal Scores < still need

Carolus, could you please, please add some more parts to the FTP? We are starting to lack for good parts to upload (Dvorak and Nielsen anyone???). Thanks.

Thank you muchly. Carnival Overture and Scherzo Cappricioso uploaded (not quite sure about how to approach the new world - do I still upload the oboe 2 part or do I have to split it?)

I'd recommend uploading the Oboe (1, 2, EH) part with the FTP set, to appear above the Oboe 2, English Horn contributed by Daphnis. I've also been replacing the files originally uploaded by Romanov, as the processed ones are the identical item but quite a bit smaller in file size. (I still list Romanov as the uploader, just replace the file itself). There's nothing wrong with an extra part here and there, as long as they are of the same published item. We will probably see duplicate sets (different scans of the same printed parts) for some things eventually.

Again, let's keep those uploads coming - Holst and Elgar would suuure be nice.
