Upload to wrong place?

Post by rshann »

I made an arrangement of a sonata from one of the sonatas in this page
http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Flute_Sonatas,_ ... iedrich%29
and clicked on Arrangements and Add Files
to add it. Numbers #151881 and #151882 are the files I added.
However it has ended up under the title of a piece already there.
And, looking at *that* piece it seems it is itself in the wrong place, being from a different set of sonatas (?)
I don't see what I should have done, and I guess I can't fix it :(
Sorry to be a nuisance.

There is nothing automatic about the ordering of contributions on a workpage - the new uploads are first at the bottom of the page.

There will be a moderator who will have to do the copyright review and will clean up if necessary within the next 6-12 hours.

However, if you are more adventurous, you could open the edit window and do the cleanup yourself. Not knowing anything about wiki-code and usually forgetting about it immediately, I personally found it very helpful to open another page with a similar content in the edit window too and just copy the relevant parts over. Just beware of those curvy brackets - just missing one of these and you may wreck the layout of the entire workpage - and always check with preview that nothing as sinister as that has happened.
