File Name and Description numbers: bug or feature?

Post by coulonnus »

Here http://imslp.org/index.php?title=Cours_ ... l%C3%A8ne) bottom of the page, my score-uploading job would be easier if the number in File Name, File Description and Date Submitted could be the same as the Study number. At present I have to renumber all these pieces if I upload a study with a number smaller than 26.

If I make only one modification, e.g. changing the three occurences of "3" into "30" all these studies disappear when I preview! Only the regular number succession works. Which information does the imslp server miss when I do so?

I think I know what you mean, the file numbers have to stay in succession starting from 1-XXXX in the stack in order for the files to show up properly to download from (you cannot choose random field numbering). Unfortunately, you have to go the labor intensive route with renumbering them when merging the stack, their is no way around this right now.
