I keep having scores deleted, saying I should have a composer page.
I have tried several times to create a composer page for myself, but it does not appear in the list of composers.
It looks easy enough to use IMSLP, but I am finding it very difficult to make anything stick.
Two of my scores have been accepted. I cannot see why others have been refused.
Please advise. I am slowly going round the twist!
1 Do I need a composer page?
2 What is stopping me creating one?

It appears that the problem was due to a composer page existing for you that was improperly named: your first and last names were switched. I've moved your composition to the correct category (Frykman, Gervais) and have associated your username with that category. See if you can upload scores now.
