Licenced by (ASCAP/BMI...) category

Post by rpatters1 »

I notice that a bare handful of composers have their works categorized as "licenced by ASCAP" or "licenced by BMI". How does one go about getting included in this category? I am specifically interested in being included in "Licenced by ASCAP".

Thanks
Carolus

Include the following template (curly brackets and all) in the "Misc. Notes" field: {{ASCAPpl1}}

Thank you once again Carolus.

I was thinking it might be better for me going forward to set up a publisher page for my ASCAP self-publishing company, Great River Music. It doesn't look like my user-level is allowed to do that. I was thinking of something similar to Sound Pool Music, with the "Works Licensed by ASCAP" categorization built into the template for the publishing company.

Is my user allowed to set that up?

Thanks,
Robert

Never mind. I figured out how to do this. Thanks for putting up with me still being a newbie.
