Byrd, Christ Rising Again vs Christus resurgens

Post by steltz »

Anton Höger has uploaded his arrangement for 3 guitars (6 voices):

http://imslp.org/wiki/Christ_rising_aga ... MSLP258308

According to Grove, the only thing similar is "Christus resurgens (c.f. chant), 4vv, G i/II 10; F v, 64, TCM vii, 143, B vib, 9", though there are English psalm collections etc.

IMSLP doesn't have Christus resurgens, so I can't tell if this is that piece. If it is, the work page should be re-named. Can anyone tell me if this is an arrangement of that piece? Thanks.

Compare "Songs of sundrie natures (William Byrd)", http://www1.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Chr ... am_Byrd%29

Thanks for that -- it stays where it is!
