lessons from a liturgy

Postby steltz » Fri Dec 12, 2014 6:24 am

This page refers:

http://imslp.org/wiki/Spiritus_meus_(V%C3%A1squez,_Juan)#IMSLP355795%20Spiritus%20meus%20(Vasquez,%20Juan)

It is a "Lectio", or a lesson. We have a lessons tag, but it is only for vocal or instrumental exercises.

Any suggestion as to how to tag?

I would go with 'sacred choruses' or 'madrigals' here, as 'lection' itself refers to a scripture reading rather than a musical form, and it's only an extract from a liturgy.
