This is a request to add "Scores by Composer Gender" to the homepage: http://imslp.org/

Past requests have made finding music by women composers easier:

Neither are current discussions, however, with the most recent posts being from 2012 and 2016 respectively. It is helpful that we have some of this information already collected in Category lists such as this: http://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Women_composers, but even this is not as accessible as it should be. I can't find this on the homepage and only know to look for it because a moderator sent it to me privately!

Currently, the drop box on the homepage permits score searches by "composer name," "genre," "composer nationality," "composer time period," and "melody." I would love to include gender as a search option for scores and recordings. What can I do to make that happen?

I agree this would be an immensely worthy addition for scholars and performers alike. We already have the tag, but there's no good way to navigate to this without a) knowing there is a tag and b) typing that tag into the search bar.

Is there any way we can formally add this into the main categories at the top of the page?

This would be a great addition. We have the tag, but this is not helpful nor user-friendly if the user doesn't know about the tag. I agree that we should implement this as a category that is available through the main menu.
