Uploading a score.

Post by Oregansrule »

I have successfully listed F. W. Marpurg's Versuch in figurierten chorälen which I edited in the mid 60's. I want to give it to the world, have scanned all 69 pages in PDF and cannot figure out how to upload it. One IMPSLP official said to just go the the Marpurg page and I would see how to do this, but that didn't work. HELP!!!!

The fact is that it is a "scanned new edition". In Add File, neither Add Scan nor New Edition will let you enter informations as you want.

I had a look at http://imslp.org/wiki/Versuch_in_figuri ... h_Wilhelm) I do not see any trouble when I begin to Add File, New Edition, Scores. Your edition will show up with "typeset by" you. The information you put in Extra Information would be at the right place in Misc Notes. I have been in a similar case with http://imslp.org/wiki/Musica_per_organo ... da_Milano) See #121691, the 1994 version.

The whole uploading process is far too obscure and esoteric for me. I simply gave up.
