IMSLP & puffinpoint.com at Spitalfields

I'm pleased to announce that IMSLP merchandise is now available from a retail unit in central London. Puffinpoint.com runs a market stall at Old Spitalfields and now carries IMSLP stock. So anyone living or working in London, or visiting, can come along and buy IMSLP merchandise direct.

This should mitigate – but not solve – the shipping cost problems mentioned in another thread. Items purchased at Spitalfields are free of shipping charges and IMSLP will, of course, receive the usual donation.

If you're thinking of visiting puffinpoint.com at Spitalfields, give us a call on + 44 7969 478 121 or email enquires [at] puffinpoint.com to make sure (a) we're open and (b) we have the items which interest you. It's a market stall so stock is limited. However, if you contact us first and demand, say, an IMSLP T-shirt in XXXL, we can usually oblige!

Pics taken at Spitalfields yesterday. It's a big, historic, covered market with a beautiful Victorian roof and dozens of stalls selling interesting stuff. There was even a pianist, playing Mozart piano sonatas!

The Autumn sun came out while the pianist was playing, and struck through the roof onto his hands. A pianist's hands, bathed in sunlight, are special imo.

I believe the pianist was Leif Ove Andsnes. Here he is at the 2002 London Proms playing the Grieg Concerto:
