Black screens

Black screens

I'm a Mac, Safari user. In the past couple weeks, when I try to download a PDF, I only get a black screen. On smaller scores, and most larger, I can right click and "save as" to my desktop and get the PDF. Sometimes I am unable to do this though. Thoughts?
