Mozart's 250 birthday party ends

Post by horndude77 »

I thought this was pretty neat: http://www.mozarteum.at/03_Wissenschaft ... 6165211733

It's a bunch of urtext versions of mozart music. I't not public domain and can't be put here, but it's still neat.

Yes... I saw that site when I was browsing the referrer section of the logs... but the site is still quite slow :/

I thought it was a very nice thing for the Mozarteum to do... but too bad the files themselves are still under copyright, and cannot go on IMSLP :( No matter though, IMSLP will continue to collect Mozart scores (from the old complete edition and elsewhere), as long as the new complete edition can only be distributed by the Mozarteum; I think this is very important just in case something happens with the Mozarteum distribution (or someone wanted another edition to compare or something).

I've also looked at the scans; they seem to be of very good quality, which is nice :)
