What would you consider as the all wonderful Debussy's Middle era? Include date, famous works, development in style, basically anything of interest.

Orchestral - definitely "Jeux de vagues" from La Mer
Vocal - The second set of Fetes Galantes is a fascinating set of songs. They sound like they belong to the later style.
Choral - Trois Chansons de Villon are drastically underrated, and display Debussy's contrapuntal skill.
Piano - Images set 2 is consistently the most interesting of his middle period sets of piano works.
