Getting back to piano

Post by 6wana »

Hi all!

I want to get back to studying piano, but I don't know what pieces to pick up and cannot pay for lessons - since pandemic :(.
I played piano for a few years, got a bachelor's in composition but since joining the work force haven't studied piano in 3 years. I played Bach's inventions and didn't get quite far in my studies.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

-This is my first post so I apologize for any inconveniences

I guess one thing to keep in mind is just play what you like. Don't like Bach? Don't play it. There's so many pieces to study and just enjoy that if you aren't liking a piece, and you got everything you need from it(or if you don't need much from it), just give it up.
