'by-nc-nd 3.0' is not allowed for retypesets?

Post by Notenschreiber »

I tried to upload a score from http://www.baroquemusic.it . The scores on this site are new typesets, which are licensed under
'by-nc-nd 3.0' . If they appear at IMSLP they should have the same type of license. But this doesn´t work, because
'by-nc-nd 3.0' is not allowed for retypesets according to the rules of IMSLP. What is to do?
(There is one example of a typeset with this license at IMSLP: Concerto for 2 Flutes in G major (Cimarosa, Domenico).
Maybe the uploader treated the uploaded version as a scan of the typeset ?)

As I explained on my talk page, it is actually allowed (though it's a little silly to add "no derivatives" to a typeset, which is a derivative itself). The upload tool does not allow that option when you upload. You have to change the license in the edit window after you upload. That's another thing to add to the "to do" list.
