How do I include Performance Restricted licence?

Post by Sentle »

The Composer Portal Manuals suggest that composers who are covered by performing rights organisations should choose one of the Performance Restricted licences rather than Creative Commons. BUT when I try to upload a score, I’m only offered the various Creative Commons licences. Please could you let me know how to include the IMSLP Performance Restricted licences. Thanks.

You have to associate your user-name with your composer category. I just checked and you are not associated. This is spelled out in the Composer Portal. New compositions should only be added using the new tools. The older add tools still work for arrangements and editions - especially for those who are experienced with adding things already - but the PR licenses aren't available for editions and arrangements since many rights societies don't collect on them.
