Well, in Spain we have the SGAE (General Society of Authors and Writers) literally chasing you for weddings, banquets, baptisms to see what music you put an invoice and charge if you use music that is not recorded as originals.
Currently SGAE leaders are in jail for embezzlement and corruption

It is interesting to hear you say Spain has people chasing folk around at weddings, banquets, baptisms etc. I'm in Canada at the moment and there is talk that not only Dj's at Weddings etc will be subject to pay a fee for music they are using. They are also talking about monitoring Karoake bars, Gyms that play music etc. I think that's getting a little carried away. What is next? If I pay for a Cd will I only be allowed to play it a certain number of times, after I reach that number I have to pay per listen? Just my opinion.
