BUG: Moving of work-page names between IMSLP and IMDLP

Post by Lyle Neff »

Hello,

I just moved a work-page by Rimsky-Korsakov (Op. 10) to a more accurate title in IMSLP. Then, when I went to change relevant information in the work information (no. of movements), IMDLP showed the old title.

So, I changed the title in IMDLP (hopefully) to match the new one in IMSLP.

Can this process be handled seemlessly with one name-change instead of two?

Thanks.

This is currently not such a big issue because when the IMDBP design finishes this would be irrelevant (it will be free association between IMSLP and IMDBP, and not 1 on 1). IMDBP currently still cannot be used as is, so as long as the pages link fine (and the link persists across moves on either side), it should be fine.

However, to prevent page collisions (i.e. someone on IMSLP recreating the original page title and finding IMDBP blocked because of the info page) it might be a good idea to move both pages. But you can omit the IMDBP move if you are sure that the old page will not (or should not) be recreated.
