Slightly tangentially, a note that in a few days there will be two pages where people can tweak the sorting mechanism to disregard certain initial words (e.g. 'The', 'A'):
IMSLPMWE:WorkIgnorePrefixes (for work page titles)
IMSLPMWE:ComposerIgnorePrefixes (for composer names)
Regarding the topic of this thread: in a few days the sorting will also become case insensitive.
