Wagner's 'Der Ring' cycle

Post by daphnis »

Dear friends and colleagues, visitors and members, I'd like to announce the availability on IMSLP of one of the greatest single contributions to the history of Western Music, a cycle of 4 dramas spanning some 15 hours and 2,000+ pages, Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen in full score. I decided to post here since some or all of these operas have been favorites and constant requests for a time, and over the past few months I've been diligently scanning in high quality these fine reprints of authoritative editions. With this contribution we gain yet another important and pivotal piece in our quest for preserving public domain music, and it is with this contribution I hope will arouse some of your interests in this striking composition. Enjoy, and happy studying!
