Trombone parts and pieces
Trombone parts and pieces
I am wondering if there are any trombone enthusiasts that would be interested in loading more trombone parts and solos.
I am especially interested in concertos by:
Wagenseil, Ferdinand David
Also the piece Alme Ingrate by Emperor Joseph I. Surely the two concertos above are in the public domain.

I'm not sure - is that legal? The OM-CD-Rom-Library is still available for purchase. The parts on the CD-Roms are public domain, of course. But the manufacturer put his logo on the sheets. Anyway that's a great idea, even you aren't able to buy the CD-Roms in Germany for a long time ago. My local dealer has contacted shops all over Europe to get some of the CD-Roms. Nobody could order them.

It's been discussed several times in the forums, maybe do a search if you are interested. As a general rule, a scan of a PD work is not copyrighted, as the act of scanning involves no creativity. Logos may be protected by trademark and thus need to be removed. (I Am Not A Lawyer).Kalli wrote: is that legal?

It is a huge project that is being compiled (the project is being compiled). We are stripping the files of their logos and checking the legality - some, i.e. Stravinsky, are (obviously) only PD in the US. Once the PD status has been confirmed we will upload the collection.I'm not sure - is that legal?
My library has all bar the Stravinsky CDs, and others also have access.
