sorabji

Post by teoakinyel »

I am ver interested in obtaining some scores of sorabjis music.
I have tried the archive website but I have not had any success.
I would apreeciate any of the music but I am most interested in opus clavicemballisticum.

could any one tell me how to get my hands on any of hismusic for free.
I would prefer free but if I would need to pay I thihnk the investment would be worth the money.

There's absolutely no chance of you getting any for free, at least legally, and certainly not here. Sorabji died less than 50 years ago which means it definitely isn't public domain in Canada, the EU or any other 50, 70pma countries. For purchase, try www.di-arezzo.uk

Hey! I have the scores of some of Sorabji's works. You [EDIT] can't download it from IMSLP.
For the Opus Clavicembalisticum you'll have to print the score in A3 size. The notes will be too small if you print it in A4 size. Tired playing the 1st few pages. It's CRAZY! XD Hahaha..
Have fun! =D

EDIT: Please do NOT link to illegal downloads.

Well, half the post was actually constructive, so I don't see a reason in getting rid of that. Plus, if I leave it with the edited post, I don't have to PM him/her.
