Beethoven Anh. 2 Quartets

I'd love to see the scores for these six string quartets made available in pdf form someday.

Either under this catalog number or under their alternate identity, Mozarts Anh 291a Quartets. While the author is known they have been described as the work of skilled imitator.

As far as I know these have never been performed or recorded. Appearing here might just inspire someone to give them a try.

See:

KV.Anh C20.05 (Anh 291a) Six Quartets

for the little information about them I've been able to find about them online.

Thought I'd bump this request and add some more details on what is being asked for.

1. Quartet in C Major
Allegro maestoso (C Major)
Adagio (F Major)
Rondo. Allegro (C Major)

2. Quartet in G major

Rondo. Allegro assai (G Major)

3. Quartet in E flat major

Romance. Larghetto (C Major)
Rondo. Presto (E flat major)

4. Quartet in F Major

5. Quartet in D major

Supposedly the parts were published in the 1950s...

Is there any way you could post any publication information, if known? That may help people track them down.

Ok, I believe I did find this score (parts only, no score?), and the problem we'll likely encounter is that these were first published, with editor Kurt Heinemann, in 1951, which means they would at least fall under our temporary block policy because they'll be under copyright in the US.

EDIT: Also in the record for this item is the following note:
Composed by Johann Mederitsch (Gallus) not by Mozart. Cf. Aigner, Theodor. in Current musicology (v. 20, p. 86) and Köchel, 7th ed. Anhang C 20.06. Although this ed. is cited under C 20.05 (K. Anh. 291a), the incipits do not match the thematic material published here. Heyer's assertion that these 6 quartets are K. 291a is also in error.

I am pleased to say that all 6 quartets can now be heard on and downloaded from unheardBeethoven.org performed by Armando Orolandi.

Further to my earlier osting, the quartets were actually performed by the Arconauti String Quartet but were forwarded to unheardBeethoven.org by Armando Orlandi with the Arconauti Quartet's permission.
