Hubay: Scenes de la Csarda #2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14

Post by sergeplt »

This is a list of and request for the Scenes de la Csarda written by Jenő Hubay (1858-1937). I'm gathering any information on the locations of these compositions in my post - unfortunately, I don't live in Philadelphia (or anywhere near Pennsylvania for that matter) or I would make inquiries to the Free Library on my own. Any information regarding the location of these pieces whether in library or for sale is much appreciated. Thanks! :D

The Liszt Academy of Music Library seems to possess copies of all these works (although I can't tell if they are actual scores or recordings):

The second of the Scènes De La Csárda (Op. 13, "Kis Furulyám") has been scanned and uploaded by Afp0815.

I offer my personal gratitude towards Afp0815 for putting the time and effort into locating and scanning this exquisite and forgotten piece of the violin repertoire.

I hope you will not forget that your uploads (and those of IMSLP's many contributors) provide immeasurable enjoyment for people across the world.

Thank you again. (:
