Sir Arthur Sullivan scores released

Post by Contratrombone64 »

The Morgan Library, NYC, has digitised much of its manuscript collection. This includes full scores of HMS Pinafore and Overture di Ballo, amongst others. Downloading the score is a tedious process as it can only be achieved page by page. I have done this for Pinafore. Very interesting to see Sir Arthur's original writting for Horn (with crocks in many different keys, not just F). Also, uses a clarinet in C, which I was totally unaware of.

Of course, above I meant to type "crooks" not crocks. Stupid fingers.
