are you sure about the Czerny op.#? A search suggests that's the op# of his 3rd piano trio?

(which was published in or before 1829- see eg http://www.hofmeister.rhul.ac.uk/2008/c ... 01_0005_03. Richault published the grand capriccio as op.172 - the French National Library has it, don't know if they'd scan it though?... (http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb429302296)

Sibley Library has a copy of the Hofmeister first ed in their Czerny special collection box 18 (unscanned but maybe the librarians @ Sibley can check to see if it's in scannable condition?... I don't know if they ever do that for special collections but nothing-ventured etc)

Well, since it was in their locked press it was probably a longshot. Wonder if there's some library I haven't thought to look for that has a less-damaged scannable copy they take free scanning requests for (as some libraries do :) ) Anyhow, luck!

(No reason to apologize above, by the way; I hope my response wasn't rude.)

Nah your post wasn't rude :p

Also to the ppl who pm'd me abt this, yes I used the request form but they still didnt respond. I sent a second one, so hopefully they respond this time. To be honest, I will probably just keep requesting this piece until I get a response because I'm really desperate to see the sheet music for this.

Well, when I search a library with this score or with Sevcik's Holka Modrooka or etc I repeatedly hit this situation: 1: Some library has it in its collection 2: this library offers online scores 3: But this one is not in the online collection. How to suggest this library to do the move?

For this one I found a copy at BNF: http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb429302296 I didn't find an English version, but on http://www.amisbnf.org/books.html you are welcome to make a donation to Gallica and the score you request will be scanned and appended to Gallica.

Ernst Friedrich Richter (1808-79)- will add that to the IMSLP Wishlist N_R... will add the others to Wishlist pages I think, unless these are especially urgent requests. Not sure how this page differs from those if not in that... (though response time here too I know can be poor)
