Popper - Elfentanz

Postby Celloyo » Tue May 26, 2009 2:51 am

Hello good people,
I first time use this forum. I ask if I can request the Elfentanz of Popper (Op.39 it is) please. I found number of more Popper note papers, but Elfentanz not include (Spinnlied include, also great piece).
Thank-you for help. :)

Celloparty, what you attempted to post was a concert transcription by Gaspar Cassado (d.1966). This was deleted as Cassado's work is not PD in Canada. Popper's original score is OK, but please pay attention to our guidelines for contributors, especially the part about public domain.

I have engraved Popper Op.39 using notation software, if anyone is interested - both Pianoforte and Violoncello part are available. Or alternatively if any moderator may like to check a copy to to confirm that it may be uploaded to the Library ...

Cheers :)

Dear Celloyo:

Private file sharing is not allowed, so I edited your post. You are most welcome to upload it however. Please include the details of the edition you typeset yours from so the copyright reviewer can make a decision as to its status. This would include the publisher's name, the date of the publication if it is printed on the music, and the names of any editors.

Thanks.
