Mozart, Overture in Bb K311a (Anh C11.05), Score/Parts

I'd be interested in obtaining the score/parts for this possible work by Mozart. It seems that such parts were published in France in the 1800's and possibly some time in the early 20thC.

C. F. Peters has score and parts for sale. Score is catalog # L2843-S, $40.00. String parts $4.95 each, Wind set/timp package $17.95.

Zaslaw’s fairly certain this is spurious, which is why it’s in the Anhang C in the latest Köchel. Just sayin’…

Sorry for the premature announcement of availability.

The editorial notes say nothing about major revisions, they only state that obvious mistakes etc. in the first edition parts had been corrected. So I assumed that the score could be released on the EU-server like an "Urtext" edition. This seems not to be the case, so you may have to wait until January 2014.

If that's the case we can probably release the musical portion of the score under the 'urtext' rubric, though the preface would remain as is. I didn't get a chance to check on the renewal status in the USA either, so the copyright notice (which is in the proper form and location) stands for now. Now that we have the ability to check on renewals for items published between 1922 and 1950, we've discovered several items which were not renewed - and (even better) are ineligible for GATT/TRIPS restoration.
